More punch.
Less hocus-pocus.

YOUR PUNCH-TABLE CHECKLIST

A few useful things to check off.

• Give punch its own share. Decide how many pours of this drink you want to plan for. If water or another drink is also on offer, avoid assigning every guest a full plan for every option.
• Choose the pour before the cup. A decorated cup can look large but hold a smaller liquid pour. Enter the liquid portion, excluding ice, in the calculator.
• Check the serving vessel. Compare its stated usable capacity with your planned batch. For the example beside this list, a 4 L jug does not hold the full 7.36 L plan. Decide which containers you will use and measure their dimensions.
• Make the label easy to read. Give the drink a name and list the ingredients you actually use. Keep the label beside the dispenser; a themed name alone does not tell guests what is inside.
• Mark reusable cups. Put a name marker near the stack so guests can recognize their cup. The calculator’s optional cup count assumes one reusable cup per person.
• Keep decoration beside the drink. Use battery-powered LED lights or paper decorations around the table, leaving the tap, labels and pouring area clear.
• Take the list, then check the shelf. Download or print your bottle count. Check actual bottle heights, shelf clearance and usable room before buying.
